solivagant
Rising Star
Greetings,
While I'm here, you may call me solivagant (n. a solitary wanderer). I just joined on March 25th, 2019 after reading some threads on the machine elves. I find myself being drawn to the research of psychedelic substances, and I figured joining would provide access to more information.
I have minimal experience with psychedelic substances, and my only experience is with psilocybin. I enjoyed psilocybin a lot, and have been lucky enough to not experience any challenging trips. I have heard the call of Ayahuasca, and I want to try it one day in the setting of the jungle with shamans. I want to be worthy of the experience, so I have been doing research and listening to people's stories on YouTube. I would love to experience the spirit of Mama Ayahuasca and her boundless love, and I want memories and problems to be uncovered so that I may better myself as a person.
My goal, through psychedelics, is learning more about different truths of the universe, and to ultimately become a better person. I'm terribly bad at understanding chemistry, I am not a science person, but a literature and art person. I worry that I will not be able to give back to the community substantially, but I will try my best. My goal for the community would be to compile a list of good books on the topic of psychedelics with comprehensive summaries for users to access, but that might take some time, and it might have already been done.
I practice meditation almost daily, often right before bed to relax. I have been learning how to read tarot cards, and I have a fun time analyzing them. I enjoy yoga, but I've fallen out of the practice quite a bit recently. I would consider myself flexitarian, and I have not quite made the jump into full on vegetarianism. I was raised in a Jewish household, but I find myself gravitating towards more New Age spiritualism. I try to keep an open mind and be patient, but sometimes it's hard, and emotions get tough. But I'm learning, and I want to keep learning.
Anyway, I hope this wasn't too long! I look forward to interacting with the community!
