My name is Mikey, I am 36 years old, am not married,, and cant cook. I love tripping, usually alone, with my favorites being 2CB-Shrooms-LSD-Ketamine-Nitrous and DMT. I can't really rank them as they are all so different and hit in many different ways, some stronger, some weaker, but all having played a profound role in my mental and spiritual development and growth as a now 30s year old male professional.

[Mod edit: no sourcing talk!] I recently came across mushrooms. I hadn't tripped in forever but I figured screw it I will microdose here and there and major dose now and again. I went with a solid 2.5(g?) which is not even a hero dose by any accord. They were just extremely potent. Unlike others, I would much rather have an intense trip than to be wondering if I am tripping at all lol;. This experience was so different though. I have done them at least 15 times, but I had this spiritual awakening and absolute surrender to the power of the music and my emotions. I was crying hysterically tears of joy through the entire dark side of the moon. Ive just been dealing with a lot and it helped me greatly to reground myself.

I am almost ready to upgrade to the DMT. Its first time i am doing it without cartridges. I have freebase and plan to load my pocket yocan black vape. It failed me yesterday when tryin to vape something else so I am hoping to figure out the vape asap soas to not havce the esame experience again. Last time this happened it solied the entire night. Cartridge doesnt work, still coil is dead and blahhhh thats the only downside I see to DMT

But yeah, still teetering between a different poly combo thats a little less visually intense. DMT didnt give me the euphoria or enlightened feeling, but it didnt scare me either. I was more taken aback at how visually stimulating and intense the visuals I was having were. My ceiling fan turned into an acrobat swinging towards me. It really makes ya wonder whats real and whats not:P

Welcome to the forum, fellow traveler :)

This is great to hear. Mushrooms are indeed a powerful tool to re-focus on the light amid the thick fog, and I'm glad you've had success working with them.

Oh it very much is even beyond a heroic dose with some strains. What strain did you work with? Cubensis?

One word of caution - be wary of the idea of "ranking" psychedelics in any way beyond subjective experience. When you play with the notion of DMT being an "upgrade" over mushrooms, you're inadvertently and perhaps subconsciously putting a lot of expectation on what the DMT experience should be, i.e. something that can be considered "better" than mushrooms. It is a well-know "trick" in the book of every experienced psychonaut to not put expectations on their future experiences. Doing so can often lead to disappointment.

Besides, if we have to be honest, nobody really knows what's going on with DMT so the very notion of expecting specific things from it is rather absurd. Furthermore, when you've tried psilocybin in a sufficiently high dose, you realize the overall "amazingness", for a lack of a better word, of the experience is not that dissimilar to other psychedelics in high doses, including LSD and Mescaline. Beyond a certain threshold it gets real crazy with all of them.

That's technically a ROA downside, not one specific to DMT, as there are many other less error-prone ways to take DMT.

In any case, glad to have you join the community and looking forward to hearing more about your future explorations. Take care <3
