Growing big crystals

Migrated topic.

I like doggs
Have you been wondering how to get those big quartz looking crystals? Me too!

Maybe it's an idea to share our experiences with growing big crystals here?!

Please share your progress/ experiences you've made/ had below, with the amount of dmt and the way you've grown them. Please include washes, extraction teks, amount of dmt & root etc. This to really see the differences between results.

Let's see how everyone does!8)

So far I've done 2 test:
Each had 0,3grams of DMT
Both dissolved in 50ml of naphtha
One with a active coal wash and a demi water wash(1), and the other with only a demi water wash (2).
Both test were from the same batch, when the naphtha was taken from the stb base it got washed 2times with demi water. This was from a stb extraction. With a (still counting) 1,7 grams of total dmt. This was from 252grams of MBRB.

I let them both evaporate at a consistent themprature of 24 degree Celsius.
Number 1 has the biggest crystal with a weight of around 0,2grams, small crystals grew around it.

Number 2 had a only smaller crystals, I didn't weigh them because they were too small to be notice worthy.

Hey 👋
I am new.
Here are my results from a/b mimosa vinegar/natriumhydroxid naphtha.
Re-x with naptha and filtered 6times through active Carbon. First warm solution and later the cold solution.
The naphta was 💯 full of dmt.
Crystallization from warm to room temperature slowly.
This is the result (I try to add pictures I hope I can make it )

Here are the seed-crystal-trials.
Took a seed crystal on a rope and make a saturated solution of naphtha and put the seed crystal in the middle of the warm saturated solution.
Slowly cooling down creates beautiful diamonds 💎

Welcome!!

Looking really good!

How much grams did you re-x? And how much did the biggest Cristal weigh? And in what kind of glass did you evap?

I've got a trial that's recristalisating at the moment, but it seems that there are only long and thin Cristals are growing. Photo's will follow soon!

Here is my third attempt, the cristals are looking quite good, but I do not think that they are really heavy, they seem pretty thin/brittle... I am thinking this ain't gonna be some good and thick Cristals unfortunately...

I guess there is still a day or 5-6 before it will completely be evaporated.

This batch: around 1.7grams of dmt thats scraped of an oven tray, 1 active coal wash. Redissolved in around 100ml (it's too munch, but I had extra goodies stuck to the side of the glassware). Room temperature is fluctuating between 15-30 degrees Celsius. It is put into a wine glass because I heared it gave better Cristal (I guess I just wanted to try it out for myself)

I hope the photos will be attached!
