I did a Harmala extraction this weekend with a kilo of Rue.
After my first basing , instead of throwing away the excess liquid I kept it and at the end of my extraction I decided to re base my brown liquid but this time with sodium bicarbonate.
To my surprise a lot of white powder fell from the liquid.
I tried to then dissolve this powder in heated vinegar/water as you would do.
However it wouldn't dissolve, even after adding a lot more vinegar and boiling.
So I filtered it and kept it.
Any ideas?
I would like to dissolve it and then do a salting.
