unfortunatly a friend of mine has ended up redissolving his extracted freebase harmaloids in 96.6% ethanol and is now left off with the inactive "harmala red". someone on this forum had posted that the harmala red is supposed to be completely inactive.. so my friends first question would be if there is any way of converting it back to the active substance.
he doesn't have any more peganum harmala seeds for another try but what he does have is 200g of dried caapi vine. since my friend is looking for a fast way to get his hands on some harmaloid crystals because he has been planning a healing session for the weekend he has asked me to post his question here.
is there a tek which anyone could post for my friend to read which deals with extracting harmaloids from caapi vine?
otherwise he will decide to go the natural way of making some old fashioned ayahuasca brew from caapi and psychotria viridis. can anyone recommend to my friend what would be needed for a single dose of ayahuasca using these plants? he is looking for an experience somewhere in the middle of medium to strong. he wants to use just as much caapi as is needed for MAO inhibition. he doesn't like the feel of the caapi spirit being strong in a brew as he wishes to consult the psychotria spirit with little distraction as possible.
if he would be able to make pharmahuasca he always shoots for doses involving 50-75mg harmaloid crystals and about 75-100mg n,n-dmt.
