Harmine, THH solubility in water?

Anyone know the solubility of harmine and harmaline in water? If not, anyone want to check out at about fridge temperature(~5C)? I ask, because I suspect that with caapi brews quite a bit of the actives are actually in the precipitate on the bottom.

I tried to taste the sludge and there was only a slight hint of bitterness. I then took 500 mg of soaked sludge and added 5 ml of water to it and heated it in the oven. Then I tasted the liquid. It was bitter. Some of the brownish powder had also gone back into solution, indicating that it might be the actives.

Would be interesting to know what the solubility of harmine and THH salts is at about 5C. It might be that when I freeze the brew, then thaw it, some actives precipitates out, and never go back in solution again because the brew is kept at around 5C all the time.

According to the merck index. Harmine chloride dihydrate (the form you would get if you made it a salt with chlorine) is soluble in 40 parts water. That means 1 part harmine to 40 units of water. Freely soluble in hot water. The freebase is slightly soluble in water.

Harmaline freebase is slightly soluble in water. The chloride salt is also moderatelt soluble in water. No more details given.
