having nexus issues

ok im wanting to become a decently active member of the dmt nexus but um yea having major problems with the posts.....i wanna post questions on the chem of lsa and a conv. lsa extraction teks and i have other various questions and things im exp with that i think and know some would atleast find interesting but when go to post on the lsd lsa and lsh forum page i dont know how to make a new topic like i have done here. would be very helpful and surely others have had this issue too and could benifit others. thank you:!

You're still in the welcome area. You have to be promoted before you can post throughout the forum. If you have feedback on any threads in other sections, feel free to make new threads with appropriate titles/links on the topics you would like to comment on and post them in the "Open Discussion" subforum for the time being. Once we see that you are a good fit as far as attitude/posting habits/etc. you will be promoted.

You can post any questions and discussions in this forum. I promise they will receive just as much attention here.

The Nexus isn't like other forums. When you first join the forum, you can only post in the "Welcome Area" subforums. You're not automatically promoted to full membership after a certain length of time or a certain number of posts. It's all about post content and attitude. Once the moderators feel they've gotten to know you a little and find your attitude to be compatible with the forum, then you'll be able to post in all of the other subforums. Sometimes this process may take a while; other times I've seen users promoted after just two or three posts. It's all about content.

I know this system can seem frustrating, but you have to appreciate how difficult it can be to maintain the integrity of a site like this. Compared with other similar forums, I feel like the Nexus is a pretty special place, and unfortunately this process has been found necessary to keep it that way.
