Hello everyone

Migrated topic.

Funeral Dinner

Esteemed member
Hello,

I am currently a student working towards a bachelors in analytical chemistry with a focus on plant derived drugs.

DMT was the first psychedelic I tried, and it completely opened me up to a new world. Since my first trip I've extracted from MHRB, ACRB, Salvia divinorum, Ephedra sinica, and Cannabis; I also learned to cultivate P. cubensis, and other active plants.

I’m truly interested in all ethnobotanicals, and their derivatives, and how they may benefit society and therapeutic treatments. Most of my knowledge, outside of my formal training, comes from Hamilton Morris, Sasha Shulgin, Nexus, Erowid, Rhodium, and reddit (before I decided to jump ship).

I’m very excited to finally be a part of this community!

Unfortunately I've had the worst luck with growing cacti. I do have a T. bridgesii that's bouncing back from rot, and I acquired some dry material for a future extraction as well.

I appreciate all the welcoming words!

Hello and welcome. We're happy to have you here with us:).

What's your favorite psychedelic? It's awesome DMT was your first:twisted:

Good luck in your studies, and I look forward to hearing how your projects go.

One love

DMT is my favorite, though my journey of psychedelic use is still fairly young.

Looking forward to reporting on my experiments!

Hello all. I have much interest/experiences/ideas for the benefit of the future/world. All of these different platforms and forums can get a bit overwhelming. I really need somebody to take me under their wing . I need guidance and direction. Feel kinda alone, but I know there's more people out there that can appreciate the things that I appreciate. I know that's all kinda vague but can anyone reach out to me and explained e.sinica 8%? That's close to 10× the original? When and who did that? I would like to shake their hand ✋️ anyway I recently spotted ephedra species in so many places! Didn't realize how much is out there shh🤫 so not sure what I do now or where I get reply messages? Sorry kinda stoned .. hope to hear from someone . And I dont know how to introduce myself. I kno, I'm pathetic. But I really wanna get to know some good people that we could benefit from picking each others brain . TTYS

Welcome @Funeral Dinner
Like you, DMT was the very first psychedelic I've tried. The very first I ever extracted. For me however, it is the *only* one I've ever tried or extracted, and it was truly enlightening. I think at some point I may be down for some mushrooms, but I don't think I'll journey outside the plant based, natural realm, so I suppose that is where you are at as well.

Looking forward to seeing more from you.

@Dr.Um, welcome to thread hijacking 101. If this were a pop quiz, my friend, you'd have passed with flying colors. ;) 🍪
I think there are probably a bunch of people here who can help you, but due to the 'rules' about sharing personal info maybe not a lot that do 'under wing taking'. It's more of a 'ask question' (in your own thread) and the community will generally answer you. That being said, the community here generally expects people to use the 'Search' feature in the upper right corner to look for existing answers to their questions before spinning up another topic on it. Usually the topics are pages long and you can get a lot of self-research done before even asking the question. I found at least a bakers dozen threads on the topic of e. sinica using that method. It's also easier for you to join into the discussions on those existing topics if you have questions about that topic.
At the top of the page, in the menu, there is a chat feature where you can go talk to live people depending on the time of day if you have specific questions about how to use the forum, or really anything you want if the people in the chat are knowledgeable on it. Good luck on your journey.

Funeral Dinner,

Welcome to the Nexus. You sound like a great member of this found family. We have a number of professionals including chemists, physicists, at least one M.D., biologists, coders and more here. And a LOT of horticulture enthusiasts. You have definitely found a nice niche on the internet here.

I look forward to your future posts from you and am glad you signed up.
