Hello, Thank you. ..an Introduction and what brought me here

Migrated topic.

Reincarnated

Rising Star
Hello to all,
Im not sure where to start so i guess the beginning makes most sense... I started smoking green at the end of high school then moved on to college. Whilst at college i had my first shroom experience. There was a cricket pitch next to the college site where shrooms would grow. That first shroom experience was not very strong and shared between friends but it definitely left me questioning.

From there i started to go to 'free partys' (aka raves) I remember my first time using mdma. The idea that eating a few small grains of crystal could cause such a dramatic change in the awareness and a completely different headspace. This really opened my thoughts.

Whilst attending these partys i came into contact with many substances, but really found what I liked...psychedelics. So for around 3 years i went partying even weekend i could experimenting with different combinations. Lsd shrooms 2c variants ketamin nirtos oxide, have shown me some crazy stuff.!

I met an older guy who my friends thought was a wierdo. We would have brief chats about lifes oddities and he would often ask me what I had seen. I related to his ideas that drugs are not just for getting high. He invited me to drink aya with him and i did on two occasions although I think I may have a high maoi tolerance as i got little effect from oral spice. Both times i did have immense effects from smoalked. This was earth shattering. The question "what is reality" pops to mind! On the way home after my second aya dmt experience i broke down into tears.. I think it was down to sensory overload. This definitely reaffirmed a more spiritual path.

Time changes so much. This was over 10years ago. I now have responsibilities that limit my travel time. I have read many threads here over the time but never felt the need to join, as i used the nexus for its wealth of Information but also had more of a social circle. Now friends grow up people change..children change plans ect... but the nexus is still here still collecting information and growing with a great atmosphere and attitude.

I am here to learn from like minded people and have an interest in growing an ethnogarden of my own. Hopefully I can give back some knowledge... finally thank you to everyone who shares their experiences feelings and insights in what is a relatively close minded world. Let us open internal doors and step out

Welcome, Reincarnated!!

Yes, many of us Nexians share a path similar to yours!! Glad you finally made your way here!

Our community is only as strong as those who contribute, so the more the merrier (well, not always but you know what i mean ;).

So has it been over a decade since Aya or Dmt experience? If so, how often do these experiences still affect you?

Good to see other newcomers!

To add to the questions, what will your goals be for your garden if you do start one?

All my best,

Doog

Thanks for your reply.

I have recently had a very light spice experience. Had visions closed eye only and slight sense of forward movement. Ornate and beautiful but not a touch on previous launches that were around 10 years ago.

So in answer to your question these experiences changed me at the time so I guess you could say that the effect is still present... Once you open these doors the hinges seem to dissolve

Aside from the overall change of view and open mindedness which is now normal the want to go deeper again has been with me for some time. Mushrooms have provided some great travel and do quench some of my thirst

Im in a hardiness zone 8 so I'm open to suggestions for any viable teaching plants...

I am pretty sure acacia acuminata is possible
Cacti indoor/out in summer
Any interesting herbs
Changa admixtures

I have alot of research to do yet. This will be an ongoing thing. I don't want to end up with a load of dead plants because I have too many to give adequate care.

Im positive on cacti as i have never experienced.

As i say any suggestions or thoughts or links would be greatly appreciated.

If you're worried about having too many plants to care for, cacti are a great start. Easy to care for and can flourish with minimal attention, easy to control their size based on the pot, and are beautiful.

I didn't always keep up with the scientific names of my plants, but I don't think I've grown any acacia varieties. Herbs like sage, mullein, damiana, and passion flower (MAOI) are all easy to grow, but if you're already positive on cacti I'd start there.

Here's an Amazon link to a great/cheap book, Pocket Encyclopedia of Cacti In Color: Amazon.com

And Texas A&M has a good info page here: http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/databases/cactus/growingcactus/

Good luck!

All my best,

Doog
