Hello!

woodfield

Rising Star
Hi everyone! I have had severe depression for most of my adult life and a couple of years ago psilocybin changed all of that and gave me my life back! I've done psilocybin quite a bit, and I think I am ready to graduate to DMT. I found some videos on Youtube showing the process of extraction, but then I saw some of the discussions here and felt like this would be a more respectful and reputable source of info.

My bark should be here today, but as far as the rest of the process goes I'm a little lost. What would be the best tek for a first timer? There are several, and naturally I keep bouncing between all of them and feel a little unsure. Any help with materials, or a preferred first time tek method would be very much appreciated!

I'm really grateful to be here, and am so grateful for what psychedelics have done for me. I look forward to getting to know some of you!

Welcome woodfield! Glad to hear psilocybin could help you.

STB teks have less steps than some others. So maybe you can try Noman's Tek, it's quite straightforward.
That's actually what I was just looking at! Looks like I need to make a shopping list. Are there any videos that show the process? Like I said I was on YouTube, but I feel like it's maybe not the best space to be getting the info from.

I'm sure there will be some video around, but I'm not aware of them. I know it feels a bit overwhelming when you're just getting started, but it's actually very simple, and if you just follow the instructions you don't really need a video.

However if you want to see it on video to get a feel for it and you can't find a video for that exact tek, look for a video of a different one. Many of them are variations on the same, so you'll see more or less how it should look. Some steps, like pulling, are the same in all teks that use naphtha or heptane.

Hi, welcome.

We have plenty of information here. Do you really need a video? Bark extraction is much like following a cooking recipe, and about as easy as baking a cake.

There are a number of resources that can help you get started:
This should provide you with some sound background reading with which to get the ball rolling.
