Help with cleaning and reX

I have recently done my first extraction and was left with a waxy substance that is just as active as any crystals I have smoked before. However, I was curious to see what would happen if I cleaned this up a bit, or even tried to just reX it so it can be crushed into powder (easier to handle then waxy chunks of what resemble crayon pieces).

Could someone describe a simple process for this? I have done some searching but mostly just find people posting results of their attempts, without really going into detail of how they achieved it.

Just curious, but could I add FASA to a saturated DMT solution, and collect the fumerates? Then re convert this back to freebase with some sodium carbonate? Would this end in less of a product due to the multiple conversions?
