OK in the nomans tek i dont understand the part where you take your jars out of the freezer , where will the dmt be? and when im pouring naphtha through the cofee filter will the dmt be caught in the filter ?

When you take the jar out of the freezer (Undisturbed for 24 hours) the crystals have precipitated to the sides of the jar. You pour off the naptha and the crystals stick to the jar. Some crystals that are floating may be caught in the coffee filter, which can be scraped when it's dry.
Flip the jars over (make sure your environment isn't too hot or humid, the xtals could melt) and allow them to evaporate. Scrape the crystals out when they have dried.

should i just leave the jars out with the lids off to evapourate?

it's best to keep them turned over a little slanted like having a lit placed under one side so any excess water/liquid can run down, away from the crystals and evap eventually. If you leave them right-side-up the low temperature they have, compared to atmospheric temperature will cause water to condense in your jar and it will take much longer like this to evaporate and give you dry xtals

i too let my jars kinda sit slanted so any residual naphtha rolls down and away from the crystals.
but i think more than anything the most important part of getting those beautiful crystals out is to be arouna durring the initial warm up period of the precipitation jar. as the jar slowly returns to room temp after its removed from the freezer itll slowly release more and more naptha thats trapped in/around the crystals.
so just be around for that hour or so so you can continuously keep dumping the naphtha drops out while it warms back up and youll be left with nice crystals.

i did my first extraction last night from 1 kg MHRB and i also poss the same question , i checked the shellite in the jar in my freezer and i cant see shit except for just the liquid.
is it possible i didnt use enough caustic soda ?
luckily i kept my MHRB extract in two lots of 2 litre bottles , right now they sitting in the fridge.. there a dark red color .
have i goofed up or just being impatient ? lol
i know what the next post is going to say.. someone is going to tell me to repour back into a pot my HMRB liquid and reboil and add more caistic soda......
should i be mixing my HMBR with shellite while its hot ?

WOW A kg for your first extraction and you dont see anything?!?!?! I wouldnt through out amything but ide get them in to some glass fast. I woke up one night to go to the bathroom and heard this drip drip drip and it was the sludge, It had eaten a hole in a plastic jug and thought it was a mess but it could of been worse. But ide save ur stuff
