help with pulling alks from xylene/toluene

Hello fellow nexus travelers,

After completing multiple naptha pulls on a noman's STB, i was interested in pulling some jungle from the remainder with xylene. I was under the impression from jimjam discussion that it is possible to remove the alks without having to evaporate and deal with the nasty fumes. I have been searching all morning for how to do this to no avail. Could some of the jimjam experts please point me in the right direction? thanks a lot!

When you pull with xylene/toulene/d-limo and you don't want to evaporate, you need to "salt" the alks out.

Basically, when you do a xylene pull, your alks are freebased so they will stay in the solution until you add an extra salt molecule. The salted molecules aren't soluble in the xylene.

You'll need to get some fumaric acid, there is a great shop in the supplier section, use the search feature. You'll also need some acetone and some epson salt. You'll bake the epson salt and add it to the acetone to get any excess water out. Then you'll saturate the acetone with the fumaric acid and add it dropwise to your xylene pull. The slower you add the FASA, the cleaner your end product will be. You'll end up with DMT-Fumarate which is great for oral trips with an MAOI. If you want to smoke your end result, you'll need to freebase the alks with some sodium carbonate.

I suggest you wash your fumarates with acetone to remove any possible xylene traces, because its such a nasty solvent you dont want to ingest that.

Yeah alkaloids pulled with xylene/limonene work perfect orally. Start with low doses (for example 30mg orally + MAOI) to see how your own body reacts.. Some people need much more, for others this is plenty.
