Hey there,
So i performed an A/B extraction on the phyllodes of A. estrophiolata. the results were looking good in the shellite. lots of clouding up very quickly
My end result was alot of yellow waxy stuff stuck to the side of the glass.
I have let it dry for 4 days and it is still sticky. so I pulled out my new test kit to see if anything had come out of this plant.
I scrapped up a small amount of this wax and put it in the test kit. let it mix up and then put it aside. There was no instant colour change but i thought the wax might take a little bit to break down and react. so i left the room and kind of forgot about it.
I came back maybe 30mins later and the colour had changed to purple. Which according to the instructions is the colour i want.
my question is, did the time i waited affect this test? would this colour of occurred after a long period of time or is the only way i would get the dark purple is if there are tryptamines present.
I am going to do a re x on this waxy stuff and see if I can get anything of use out of this.
thanks again
Heff
