HEPA Clean Air Filter?

I’m not asking if these perfectly clean every contam out of the air, but could it at least help a bit or would it just be a waste of money?

Any help would be appreciated!

This is what I was thinking

I'd recommend making a CR box (with a box fan). Very cheap, easy, and moves more air than most. They became popular during covid. I used to use one to help keep mold out of a damp basement but I'd imagine it'd help for this

What is that, exactly? Is it like a mini laminar flow hood crossed with a glovebox or something?
It's a corsi-rosenthal box. The simplest form is 4 HEPA furnace filters made into a box, with a box fan attached to one side. Very efficient and cheap way to clean the air in a large space. There's simple guides online

It’s not for mushrooms specifically. And it shouldn’t be relied on like a laminar flow hood . I use a still air box.

This is an air purifier for a room that just helps clean the house. I’m asking if it would be beneficial just to have as a general clean house to keep contamination at bay. Cleaner the better, right?
