high dose ingestion vs. low dose sublingual

The two current routes of administration followed these days are either quidding leaves or smoking (leaves or extract).
Will ingestion have any effect (at any dose of salvinorin A)?

Salvia tinctures are also a thing that people have seen a fair bit of success with. All three ROAs will have an effect which will be greatly dependent on dose. What exactly are you asking?

It's very poorly absorbed through the stomach, if that's what you mean. The mazatecs did/do drink it, but it's not unlikely that the actual absorption happens in the mouth there too. And they use many leaves.

You can experiment with it and report back. Putting it in capsules would ensure that the absorption doesn't happen in the mouth.

Try ....[low to micro] dose smoking or vaping.. [of 10x/..20x/.... or higher extracts......you might be surprised at the results

In my experience, swallowing Salvia absconditiflora after quidding does make a difference, but it's not necessary.

Drinking a tea is surprisingly effective but less than quidding.

I always swallowed. It’s stronger than spitting it out.
