High levels of Salvinorin A. discovered in Salvia Recognita and others.

Migrated topic.
It is a huge inspiration for myself...

These sages really are calling to be explored, being eaten in greater quantities.

I have also noticed the similarity in the leaves of absconditiflora and officinalis. But when they dry they look quite different.

Here are the two sisters of this garden of Eden together 😍

Clary sage season is starting, as absconditiflora season is ending.

Perhaps it has no salvinorin a, but it is psychoactive and magical to the fullest.

With all my intense feelings on the genus salvia, I am starting to believe I am a "man of sages." 🌱

I have been experimenting with ingesting powdered S. absconditiflora following rue lately.

First of all, somehow the rue I have been working with has given dramatically impotent seeds during the last two years. This is very sad but I am finally convinced to try working with other strains now. But my salvia experiments were with this watered down rue...

6-12g of dried flowers or leaves (leaves are more potent) powdered (they become very fine dust in an electric coffee grinder) and mixed into a glass of water, and drank with constant stirring, 40 minutes after the rue is... Miraculously healing, and gives a sublime experience. İt's unlikely anybody else here has access to this species, but I would encourage those who grow S. recognita to do the same, as it is a genetically very closely related species and is even said to be more potent.

It seems to me in a sense like the polar opposite of DMT (phragmites) - Glorious heights vs delicate depths. Something about the grounding that feels like more essential medicine.

It's synergistic affinity to rue is no less than that of DMT, in my opinion.
