So I had an idea.

Jars in rubbermaid half filled with water, submerged aquarium heater set on highest temp.

Will this work, or will I blow myself up?

110ºC? This is far above the temp needed. I believe even 110ºF (~43ºC) would help. One recent discussion suggests 50ºC:

So, an aquarium heater would be more than enough to keep the mixture warm. It seems to me that the ideal aquarium heater would be one with a thermostat in order to keep the temperature constant, right?

Lolno. its listed as 110 F maxed, but usually when I record the temp of the water its around 115-120 F

Oh, that is enough.

I have a friend who works at an aquarium store. I will ask him about the safety of these heaters and I'll post back soon.

Your idea sounds great! Thanks for sharing it.

That'd be an impressive trick for water outside of a pressure cooker, aquarium heater or not lol. You'll want it at at least 55c if you plan to save any time. Hotter is better but of course since aquarium heaters are very safe and designed to be left on for weeks you could just set and forget for a day or so.
