Hi,
swim used approximately a foot long san pedro, decent thickness, with good color. Swim believes it came off of a slightly older mother plant.
Swim sliced it up as a cucomber into fat star like chunks. Used minimum heat on the first few pulls and a little more on the following. All in all, swim had five pulls. Refreezing the chunks every time after the first pull. Swim also used lime concentrate.
Here is the interesting part, at first swim was using two dishes to collect the "yellow" water. After realizing that it wasn't that hard to evaporate the water (combination of a fan and a heat pad) swim decided to combine the extracts into one dish in order to make it easier later on to scrape up, off of one dish, rather than two.
So the 4th and 5th pulls were poured straight from the pot into the 1st dish that had the first pull in it. That helped to redisolve the white/yellow resin that was already dry in there. Swim then poured all that out into 2nd dish. So swim did that procedure twice, for the fourth and then for the fifth pull, to make sure he got everything out of it. Also on the last pull, the chunks themselves were scweezed out before discarding.
While the 2nd dish was still evaporating, the 1st dish was sitting near by with a very thin layer of white residue on it. Today swim scraped up everything from both dishes.
The second dish ended up having 15 "00" caps worth of resin. The first dish, 50-100 mg of white powder!!! Is that what swim think it is? Na'ah, it can't be, it's too good to be true. Can someone please tell swim that is not what he thinks it is.
Is there anything else in the plant that could yield something like that?
