How does your changa look like ?

Only had .4 fb left so a smaller batch this time.

.4 fb
.2 rue extract
.2 raspberry leaf
.1 marshmallow leaf
.1 blue lotus
.05 peppermint

Let the alks mellow in about 60ml everclear while i prepped the herbs. No songs came to mind but there was lots of love in my heart. Gratitude to have the opportunity to craft something new and special. Really took my time to pick out all the little chopped up stems and woody stringy bits. Hadn't noticed them before but might explain the harshness. Also left out raw pao d'arco this time.

After they marinate for a day or two i'll evap half then add 10ml each of lemon balm, lavender, and pau d'arco infusion. Let that sit another day or so before letting it all evap.

I have some ethanol in menthol (yes i wrote that correctly) i'm tempted to add one drop but i think that might be the one to over power it all.
 
That is probably a large contributor which I didn't mention. The mullein I used was harvested by me locally. Went from large flully dehydrated full leaf into the grinder. Skipped any of the thick centers on larger leaves.
How did you dehydrate it? I tried a few different ways and it still has that grassy smell like i did it wrong. We have plenty in our pasture for me to try again. Cows wont eat it

Where I am it is arid so I set them on a flat surface and flipped them every day or other day until they were dry without a dehydrator. Probably took a week or so. They want to curl and cup in the immediate day or two after you harvest but if you manually flatten them when you rotate they don't end up that bad.

I just smelled some that I had left over that I didn't use in the changa batch, it has a subtle "green" smell but nothing pungent. I'm not sure the precise mullein variant I have but should properly identify it.

I just harvested these from my backyard yesterday and are air drying. Some of those larger ones were six plus inches wide 😁.

I think my issue is i was destemming them before drying and they dried too fast (like 2 days max) keeping that green smell

Correct, just happened to be on the separation point where concrete stops and yard / weeds begin. I dry them just as pictured stems and all. I removed the stem material when I use each leaf at some point in the future.
