How long is bark solution “okay”? (Jungle Spice)

I have some basified mimosa soup left over from a STB extraction I finished about 4 months ago. I’ve been sitting on the left over soup, as I intend to pull from it using toluene to extract some jungle spice.

How long can I let the bark soup sit and still safely pull from it? Is there any time limitation at all?

After my first extraction, I kept the soup. Did some other extractions, and found that first soup after maybe 2 years. I tried extracting from it, and it worked. The extract was mostly goo, probably due to spice polymers forming during the long exposure to base. But otherwise, it worked perfectly.

As @pantostao already stated, letting it sit for longer seems to indeed make for more spice polymers. Though it still give the goodies.
