wizzardy

Average psilocybin enjoyer
Now that I have your attention, I wanted to introduce myself to this forum.
My name is wiz, I am a photographer. I enjoy many different subjects, especially creative work and philosophy (I'm not very good at either since I am young, but I do enjoy sharing ideeas with people)
Maybe no one will reply to this thread but I wanted to ask you guys how you feeling today? :)

Hey wizzardy.. welcome.

No need to get our attention with clickbait.. there’s quite a few members who regularly do the rounds greeting new members.

Can you tell us a bit more about the photography you do? Fellow photographer here.. mostly into photographing interesting plant species these days. Unfortunately I lost a few thousand dollars of gear last year.. so both of my SLR’s and lenses are off in the ether now. Really wish I could afford a good new setup. What camera/lenses do you use?

What philosophical areas do you immerse yourself in?

I'd be interested to see some of you nature work, I personally do event and portrait photography the most, I kind of made a job out of it and can't really photograph only the things I enjoy anymore:)
I used to do canine, car and even long exposure photos a few years ago but since then I got forced to move to other areas.

Also I'm very sorry to hear about your equipment, how did that happen?
I personally shoot with a Nikon d750 (old but still decent for the price range) with a 85 1.8, 24-70 2.8 and an old full manual 50mm lens from Nikon (fun fact the d750 has a built-in focus motor and it can make old lenses use auto focus)
I do wanna make a switch to the Sony a7 III this year to be honest. I really loved my Nikon but it's unbearable when it comes to autofocus, iso sensitivity and a few other minor things.
What equipment do you currently use ?
And when it comes to philosophy I enjoy philosophy of self and ethics. I recently started reading up on some of Nietzsche's work too, very interesting stuff
What areas do you indulge in?
Also very glad for the time you took to respond 🙏
