Hi y'all, I fully appreciate this may be preaching to the choir in some respects...this is the DMT Nexus after all...but thought there was some good advice in this article on how to use DMT well, and think it will be of particular interest or use to people who are new to the molecule. That's interesting. Although I would like to contact the site admin and ask that they remove the part "until you reach 60 or 70mg"

That will most likely cause people to continue thinking that 60 or 70 mg is a dose they should try, creating an unsafe situation for many especially those that decide to jump the gun and go straight for that size dose.

I also think the explanation for using the gvg is incorrect. Especially the part where it says to wait till it fills with smoke then exhale, then inhale the hit. It also refers to vapor as smoke which can cause people to not fully understand the difference.

Also the part about how it can be described as harsh. It should state that if its harsh you are burning it.

All of this just in case the person who wrote it reads this.

Other than those few mistakes I enjoyed reading the article and I am glad to see more people spreading harm reduction. Good read for sure.

Also, although thick white vapor should be produced, a thick white cloud should not be exhaled. When done properly, the exhalation should be practically invisible.

True. Regarding the vapour harshness that is true and good advice, although the harshness of vapour does seem to vary for different people, even when smoked correctly to some degree, this seems a little more subjective than other areas of smoking. As it happens I've been in touch with the site admin so I've let him know about concerns regarding the hefty recommended dosages and have linked him to this thread.

I do understand that the vapor irritates the throats of some. I have a friend who is unable due to this issue. Although I believe the number of people effected by this is low, maybe there should be a disclaimer explaining that in most cases harsh vapor means burnt DMT, while some people find any amount of vapor to be harsh.

Having vaped several other tryptamines out of the GVG, I'd have to say that DMT is far and away the harshest. Even when applying more heat to others, they tend to be less harsh than DMT.

Not sure what you mean global. I find DMT out of my gvg even when keeping the ceramic glowing to feel like nothing at all. It feels like slightly warm air. Sometimes it doesn't feel like anything is being inhaled at all.
