how to tell when my dmt is rdy??

im doing the lazymans tek cuz i dont have the money to get a freezer. When evaping how do i tell when the crystals are rdy to be harvested and smoked?

read point 8 of the tek again. Its ready when all the naptha is gone. there should be no smell of naptha, only spice. scrape them all together then I'd wait another 12 hours just to be sure they are completely dry.

agreed. My buddy uses a half pint jar and he pours the naptha out then he gives it a day before he scraps out his spice, just to make sure its dry.

Just to make a pont, my friends dmt was dry but still smelt strongly. After a Sodium carbonate wash and a re crystallization, the dmt smelt ALOT less. But alot nicer... I strongly recommend doing this.

There really is no reason not to clean it. After all, you dont wan dirty dmt no?

When near the end of a freeze precip leave the jar/bowl upside down in the freezer for an 45mins -> an hour to drain, then take it out and leave it upside down with one side raised slightly and run a fan over it. This stops the condensation formed by the warming glass pooling in your DMT and reducing your nice crystals to a paste. then finally turn the bown upright and fan until there is no solvent smell.
