Howdy folks!

Hi @JungleGhost , welcome to the Nexus. Sorry to hear you're feeling lonely, I've been there too.
Unfortunately, for safety reasons it's not allowed to share real-life information that can be revealing of one's identity or using the Nexus to meet up IRL:

No sharing of any real life information

Due to the nature of the topics discussed on this forum it is not allowed to post any information that will reveal one's identity. Examples of this are facebook pages, personal websites, email addresses, home addresses, photo's of one self or any other means that will give handles to have you tracked in real life.

No using the Nexus as a personal meet-up point

Due to potential legal risks, we do not want people giving their emails or personal contacts (or displaying full face pictures) openly. We don't want people telling other members they don't already know to meet up privately, this can be a problem for both the people meeting as well as bringing attention for the whole community. The only exception we make is that we allow establishing general meeting points for festivals and conferences because you don't have to say who you are in the Nexus when going there, and you can go to the meeting point if you want while remaining anonymous. If you do meet up, do not bring drugs and be sure to maintain your personal safety.
(from Attitude Page - DMT-Nexus Wiki )

However, despite it not being the same as meeting people IRL, you're very welcome to hang around here. It's a friendly environment. Also, you may be interested in the chat: https://chat.dmt-nexus.me

I assume you are interested and/or experienced with psychedelics. If so, what psychedelics? Any interesting experiences?

Keep at it! You will only get better - you clearly have a sense of style that can be developed by working on technique, and that only comes with practice.

I'd recommend working on basic geometric figures, particularly the so-called Pythagorean and Archimedean (i.e. regular and semi-regular) solids - but maybe I'm obliged to say that as an organic chemist :D Look into what the Golden Ratio actually is, where it comes from, and how it relates to natural forms. These two overarching factors were keystones for my understaning of graphic art from a classical perspective, at least. Don't be afraid of coming up with something new…

Back on technique, work on shading and crosshatching pays dividends.

Thanks for sharing your work, I hope you find my response helpful.

Thanks to everyone.

Everyone on here has been very kind to me. very thankful to find this place where I actually seem to fit in because in real life I have nowhere...

@JungleGhost I haven't officially greeted you yet, so welcome to the Nexus! I Look forward to seeing you around the forum and watching some of your interesting projects take shape you have going on your garden!

Sometimes it's better to have few or no friends than to have friends that smile you your face amd talk smack behind your back. I've wasted many years on people I believed were really good close friends (some 25+ years) only to find out their true colors.

I don't have a lot of close people in my life anymore and now prefer the company if myself and animals over humans for the most part, I've found peace with my own company and it leaves me free to practice snd enjoy my hobbies without people getting involved and causing drama.

Nothing beats a couple doggos and some kitty's to keep company with, and they true and loyal .

Look forward to seeing you around the forum
