Technically you should end up with 2.5 grams off of 250g mimosa. I agree with ash but I'd have to say it's probably 300-350 personally. I don't think it is quite 400, although because of the impurities present it might weight a little more. Break it up into 5 doses, try one. You'll know if it's too much or not! Happy travels
About the wash: I've heard that washes can ruin spice.
In the Marsofold tek is suggested that "ice cold distilled water" can be used instead of the ammonia wash.
Is it enough?
Actually I did a freeze precipitation, but after three days in the freezer (as suggested in the Marsofold tek) when I was pouring off the liquid there was NOTHING in the coffe filter, the crystals were at the bottom of the dish and I had to scrape them off the thing.
