I have this guide I am pretty sure im going to follow, which is located here http://blizzardaccountadmin.com/dmt, I am totally new to extraction and this was one of the only guides that didnt require a bunch of chemicals. I was wondering if there is a trick to doing it this way. And i would like for any information that you guys have that could help me.

I have a question about MHRB extraction

Take 100 grams of root bark, add 1.5L water.
Add 100 grams lye/drain cleaner/ red devil/base/whatever you are using.
Stir stir stir.
Add 100mL nonpolar solvent (naphtha, maybe xylene... stuff like that).
Swirl mixture together. Separate the 2 substances. Throw the solvent into the freezer.
Add 100mL nonpolar solvent (naphtha, maybe xylene... stuff like that).

Take the lye/water/MHRB sludge and throw it down the drain/into the woods. Clean stuff up, things like that.
Take your solvent you threw in the freezer, and filter all 300mL of it.
You got DMT on your filter.

Well my friend in Antarctica would use 1:1 bark to lye rather than 4:1 but then he's been called a lye eater.
Other than that, it looks like a pretty straight up STB and should work fine.
(you can always add more lye if it doesn't)
I strongly suggest you read a few more teks and familiarize yourself with the process before proceeding though.
