Have you read the topic about the so-called "watermarks" on fabrics etc...? I'd be curious if the patterns described there are what you are seeing.

If so, I may be just a little jealous.

Not patterns, but moving swirling white light snaky-wormy things. Only works on bright blue skies, not grey skies either. I dunno. Perhaps it's the color.

Those have nothing to do with psychedelics. They’re called floaters.

No way, I can see those too. Totally different thing. Floaters are almost like lint on a camera lense: It moves with the fluid in the eye and are usually darker than the background.

The bright, shining, squirming...MOVING things only appear when my gaze is locked. Plus they light up, wiggle like snakes out of a common point. Usually about 5-8 per "blooom". The blooms are spaced so that there are approx 8-15 in the X and Y planes in my field of vision... evenly spaced more or less. Total approx "blooms" runs from about 70-200 at any given time.

They aren't the "sparklies" I get when I do straight leg dead lifts too hard either.

They almost look like these fireworks in a way. Like the following pic without the smaller plumes.

I have floaters, and those are barely visible dark spots that do not move around.

I get the squigly dots too, mostly when I get a good headrush smoking MJ. That wiki link explains it perfectly.

The tunnel thing I was describing is neither of these. I see semi-transparent raindrop shapes that overlap like an inside-out snake skin, moving outward and towards me at constant speed. I've never been able to find any explanation for that. It is most noticeable with a blue sky, but I can seem them on white or black backgrounds also. Since it becomes much, much more pronounced while tripping, with some concentration, I consider it nothing more than a hallucination. The detail is not nearly as intricate as a DMT rosette or dome, whatever you want to call it, but it is very similar. The tunnel always seems to have the same size raindrops moving about the same speed. I've never had an OBE from meditation, as in astral projection, but it does feel sometimes like the tunnel is "pulling" me, so to speak. I don't meditate much, not regularly any more, but I can pretty much focus myself and filter out the noise anywhere, any time. I've had many years of informal practice, based on no philosophy in particular.

yeah i get the same thing with blue skies. like little squiggly interlocking white worms. differen't to floaters. and i get them hardcore when on psychedelics, and still when sober but to a lesser extent. my friend told me that it has something to do with scratches on the retina.. but i have no idea how valid that is
