I see you're using a plastic syringe. Please note that unless all parts of this syringe are made from HDPE plastic (which is unlikely as I see a rubber ring on the top of the plunger) the naphtha is going to melt the plastic. This plastic might precipitate into your DMT when freezing/evaporating. When vaporizing you will inhale these plastic particles.

Hi, I use Marsofolds tek. I made 2L of a 1.25% acetic acid solution by by adding 0.5L (5% acetic acid) cane vinegar to 1.5L destilled water. I cooked it 2 hours and then I cleaned it through t-shirt. Then i cooked again 2 hours in a 1.5l solution (25% vinegar and 75% destilled water ) the solution was overnight in freezer. In the morning I boiled down the extraction to 400ml over an hour. Then i heated 100ml destilled water and added 15g NaOH. 5 min later i mixed everything. So eventually I end up with about 500ml of liquid. Now I heated up 100ml naptha (ZIPPO) and mixed it. Something is wrong.. there is brown foam.. I waited 1 hour but its brown... no clean naptha. Maybe the NaOh solution was wrong?

perhaps you didn't add enough lye, the solution should look almost black if basic enough

i would return your first suck back into your extraction vessel. add more bass. perhaps NaCl/ place in hot bath (no open flames) let separation take place before siphoning
More NaOh fixed the problem.
