Ideal temperature for MHRB + NaOH + Naphtha mixture?

Hello everyone. First time poster. This is a great site and SWIM plans to update everyone with SWIM's DMT extraction process and experiences.

After considerable research, SWIM is making his very first batch of DMT. SWIM would like to know if there is an ideal temperature for MHRB + NaOH + Naphtha to be kept at.

Well, SWIM ended up using room temperature. SWIM will let you how the crystals come out.

room temperature works fine (if SWIY doesnt live in the north pole, that is..) Heating up the whole container by adding hot water to a pot and putting the container inside will increase the amount of spice that the pulls will get. Just heat up the water before, turn off the fire and then put the container... No open flames near naphtha!

but even if its not done and it all goes in room temperature, it will work fine too.. just make at least 4-5 pulls

Do you heat water up to boiling point?

not exactly.. because SWIM uses a glass container, and even though is a thick one, he doesnt want a too extreme temperature change that would break and make a mess.. so he heats up to maybe 50-60 degrees or so (which is a bit over the point when the water gets too hot to touch with the hand, but not much more)... Also, freebase dmt vaporizes at around 60 degrees so SWIY wouldnt want the boiling water to heat up the rest so much that it will vaporize some dmt away.
