What tools do you guys use to measure the quantities? I'm having trouble moving stuff in and out of my scale and then into the pipe. It seems like a stupid problem but it's actually pretty difficult for me somehow.

You want to use a 0.000g scale. They are typically designed for weighing precious stones and metals and usually come with a little dish on them and a wind cover which makes it perfect for weighing out spice. The top end ones are fairly expensive but you don't need one that accurate. One of the cheap lower end ones works just fine.

Right, I have one - but what do you use to move stuff in and out of the dish. I've been using a buck knife and its a big unwieldy thing for this. Powder gets stuck on the dish, the knife etc. It's more difficult that I thought it would be.

Are there special tools people use for moving small amounts of powder in and out of the dishes and such?
 
I am using a metal nail file...
Put a small (kinked) piece of paper or foil on the scale, zero it out, use the tip of the nail file to scoop out the spice and plop it onto the paper/foil.
Works great.

Funny you should ask that, I just bought a little metal spoon for that purpose. I use to always use a small pocket knife which did the job just fine for me. Surgical spoons are perfect.
 
So I just wasted quite a bit yesterday. Currently I have my vaporgenie with 1 screen at the bottom and a layer of cannabis/ash that I thought was doing an ok job - but well, ya - it wasn't.

I keep reading about these ceramic flavored discs or whatever. Where can I find them?
 
Im sure most people can say the same thing but it sounds like my first experience was very similar. Terrified and just cant let yourself cross over. Just tried it last night. I wrote a post about mine aswell. Im determined to cross over eventually and I just cannot get past 2 hits so it seems higher doses are the way to go.

You have to decide for yourself whether you truly want this. Then, if you decided to go in, you have to say to yourself "i want this". You have to remind yourself of it. "I realy want this". Then you have to be a bit of a stoic, and just do it.

It's like standing on a very high diving board. If you feel a bit shaky, you have to say to yourself "don't look down", and just take that leap.

If you allow yourself to look down and ask "do i realy want to jump?", you'll be standing on that board till all the water has evaporated.
 
you should try some spice with rue tea 30 minutes before vaping ..the rue alows the light to work a little slower ..more colorfull.. and more visual ..easier to navagate through!
 
The fear is added to by the stress of technique. There is a way to bypass this. Once I made the transition to Changa I never even considered going back to vaping xtal. In my more profane life it was the change I made after decades of insufflated cocaine and went to freebase/crack. Now I see coke as an ingredient not a product in itself. With Changa I feel I will never have another misfire.

Just use your bong and keep toking until you are there. Then watch the the bong be taken apart and reassembled how it should be. Hyperdimensional on the bridge of a starship were I am the lowest rating so the entities keep course with no input from me.
 
I’m thinking it may really be the way to go, that on top of a maybe 50mg oral dose with some harmala extract. So you can sort of hover on the launch pad, and then do your three count and launch with changa. I’m not really sure because about once every 18 months I try it, get scared and don’t touch it again so, it’s hard to practice and get fine tuned.

What ratios of plant/harmala/spice do you guys like? I had one that was like 2:1:1 and it felt like the gravity went to 5 G’s, waaay too much harmala.

I’m with you exactly, I had tried and tried but didn’t really know what to expect.
So I finally got my set up dialed in.
I just sat down, I was ready, and I just let myself be one with it. At the beginning I was scared but once I let go!!! I can’t really explain what was happening but it was so vivid and crisp and prescise.
At one point just other worldly, like I was floating in between 2 places just waiting far away for my turn.

I can’t wait for a breakthrough!!
