Increments

Hello all,

I want to get some advice or thoughts on something.
I recently bought a milligram scale, and so now I have the ability to know the exact dose. Initially, for my first several attempts, I simply "eyeballed" the dose. This generally led to good experiences, except for one near-blackout, in which I'm sure I smoalked too much.
So now I'm working my way up through the milligrams. I've done 15, then 20 which both yielded sub-breakthrough effects. I'm using a GVG with a carbon pad. My next go will be 25 mg. My goal is to find the sweet spot with my particular product and method of ingestion.
I think this is a sound methodological approach. But what do you think? Also, what is your sweet spot weight?

Thanks

I like to aim for about 45mg, i find that its strong enough to break through, yet not too overpowering to where it is uncomfortable. Im sure everyone is different though. Something someone told me, stuck with me. They said its like a lightswitch, either your brokethrough or your not. Doing more doesnt make it better. IME it makes it harder to understand what i am being shown:thumb_up:

Thanks mellow_mood,

I think you're probably right. When I didn't have a scale and used too much I went for a journey a can hardly remember. That's why I really want to find the sweet spot, so I can practice focus and memory in that space.

What i notice when i have done do too much (it happens once in a great while) os that it moves so fast and then i open my eyes amd cant remember anything, either that, or i get slungshot through hyperspace so hard it feels like im being crushed going through a black hole, and i get into a world where im not supposed to be, then these entities throw me down a few dimensions  i get dissapointed when i mess up my dose, ive learned my lesson enough times to know just to leave it, and come back fresh another day when im ready

You said you want to work on memory, what really helped me, is thinking of it just like a dream, when i wake up in the morning. Dont open your eyes right away, i just keep mine closed untill maybe even 30-40 minutes from the point you first started. It gives me time to really take it all in, and it makes a huge difference in how much i retain! Also ive noticed that my experiences have become longer lasting maybe 15-17 minutes at the point when they say goodbye and i travel back through the ending of it

Still doesn't understand the dosing with jimjam. What percentage if it is deems, 90%?
Or is that irrelevant, and 25 mg of jimjam is very close to 25 mg of deems, considering the evaporation went well.

Either way, going by increments seems to be the best option because of the many variables, such as personal neurochemistry, metabolism and body weight.

Thank you for this tip, I will definitely give it a try. What do you mean when you say "travel back through the ending of it"?

Its hard to describe but ill do my best, when the end of my breakthrough comes and these entities who usually say good bye and their waiving at me, and saying thanks for coming, my focus shifts to this sort of fabric that is blowing in the breeze. It feels like when your laying in a hamoc under some trees with the sun shining through, hearing windchimes and just relaxing. It feels so good! Maybe its the fabric of space and time. The experience seems to slow down at this point, and i can stay in that spot for a while it feels like. It is so energizing i come back and feel refreshed. Its really interesting to hear how other people experience DMT, i could talk about that forever and never be bored:grin:

I know what you mean by "fabric blowing in the breeze." I have also had that feeling toward the end of the experience. Usually when the trip is over I keep my eyes closed for maybe 30 seconds, at which point I'm just quietly laying down with my eyes open. But I will try keeping the eyes closed for a while.
I've always been interested in finding the best technique for whatever it is I'm doing. Whether it's work, conversation, or recreation. I like to find a technique that works well.
Thanks for the advice.
If my mind isn't too blown, I'll report back when I've given it a try.
