Inner or Root?

I am getting ready to start my own adventures in extractions and was wondering about Acacia bark.

Would it be better to get inner bark or root bark of the same tree?

I am hoping to aquire some acacia some day and those are my two choices.
The inner is from Taiwan while the root (as listed) is from Hawaii....
