Excuse me If I am posting in the wrong place.
Hi all this is my first post, would just like to say hi to everyone & I am thankful to be part of what seems like a great community of like minded individuals, I have read many posts & to be honest quite blown away by the intelligence of many on these forums.
This leads to me feeling like I'm punching well above my weight, I know I will learn lots from you guys & girls, I already have, my hope is as I learn more, And I too can contribute something back into this wonderful community.
A little about myself: Male early 50's I am a recovering opiate addict going on 6 months opiate free I was taking up to 200mg ms contin + endone + nerve blockers gabapentan & lyrica for a disc generation disease, developed depression & anxiety through these above drugs + child hood trauma, but I am traveling OK lots of exercise tai chi healthy diet.
I am currently completely off all drugs including pot, dealing with pain through tai chi + weekly/ f/nightly Bowen therapy, I am very interested in developing spirituality to become a better person.
I have dabbled in the past with mushrooms + LSD but nothing major, I have not tried spice but are pretty keen once I learn more, anyway won't ramble anymore take care everyone, & again sorry if posting in wrong spot, Destination. . .

Welcome to the Nexus!

Nice to have you here! This is indeed a great community and you'll find that a lot of us here share a similar story to yours, especially the parts about overcoming addiction(s). I personally used to be a mess until I found a way to break those habits and forged a collaborative path with psychedelics. Mushrooms were what saved me from myself and my destructive tendencies. :d I've learned so much from this place and I couldn't be more thankful. I hope you find everything you are seeking here!

Have a good one
