Intruiging conductive vape concept

SWIM has been predominantly interested in playing with the inspirator design as he loves its portability and control.

For home use though, SWIM wonders just how controllable a device like this may be?

One could use a screen or mesh to hold spice in the tube, and vape the spice without any fuel taste from lighters...
It seems that it may also lend itself to creating the low pressure zone that SWIM has found to be helpful in dense vaporizing.

Anyone care to punch any holes?

EDIT:

SWIM tested idea with a small infra-red bulb wrapped in a foil chamber with a test tube held in front so it is exposed to the rays.
A temp probe in the tube showed 150 C after less than a minute, and it was steadily increasing. This was done trying to avoid having the probe touch the tube walls.
IR rays heat objects, not the air, so perhaps using SS wool in the glass, or even just the glass itself could evenly heat to vaporizing temps.
SWIM will test with dimmer and spice in the morning.

Please make it known if this has been tried before. SWIM finds it hard to believe that it hasn't.

HmmMmm. Do report on the results of the spice-test! I haven't heard of this being used for spice before, but it sure looks like it's worth a try.

Hey great idea. Might want to look something up first though. The melting point of Spice would have to be lower than the temperature of the vaporizer (Witch varies based on the vaporizer you use). I'm not sure how hot a vaporizer gets as it only needs to get hot enough to melt the active chemicals in whatever herbs goes in I'm curious and watching for results. Please post!

Hey ABC, This post was erased a little while ago during a server error, and I had continued and reposted this in another thread here: An intruiging vaporizer concept, and some interesting information - Welcome discussion - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus
Afterwards the post returned, but the one linked is more complete.
You will find some experiments I did with monitoring vape temps.
I hope to update soon, currently flooded with other responsibility.
