Investing in psychedelics

Has anyone noticed the exchange traded funds which invest in companies who are into psychedelic medicines? I found two ETFs so far. One trades on the NYSE under the ticker (PSIL), and I found another with the ticker (PSYK) which trades on the NYSE also.

I’ve bought a few shares of the PSIL so far.

I thought it’s completely novel phenomenon

I got into PSYK when it hit the Canadian index. It has not done well... but I'm in it for the long game, it's not even FDA approved yet.

Gonna ride this rocketship to the moon.

Also, incidentally, it's going to help millions of people live better lives, but who cares about that, let's get rich apes! $_$

That’s how I see it as well. There’s also cannabis ETFs in the US. And the whole shift toward sustainable investing, and ESG and green bonds and all is encouraging to me.

Wifey and I have divied up our investment research and she got weed and psyches so I can’t comment on much, other than to echo dreamoar. We’ve got mindmed along with a bevy of canna industry stocks and have been taking a beating this year, but whatever. Like they say, you haven’t lost any money until you’ve sold it.

And as I mentioned in another thread, The University of Wisconsin-Madison has a list of publicly traded companies under its job placement for those graduating their Psychoactive Pharmaceutical Investigation, MS program.
