hello fellas, so after finding some good glass containers at a cheap price from a thrift store, i decided to buy it. so since i can't be sure what type of glass it is, i just wanted to know if any type of glass is just as effective for carrying out extraction procedures? i just want to make sure that no chemical interaction with the glass results in any kind of problems. i will only be using the common extraction chemicals like dlimo, fumaric acid, ipa, acetone, lye, naptha, etc. i would assume that any glass would work fine, but just wanted your wise opinions to double-check. (btw, i know that heating the glass can crack it, so it won't be used for that) your help is appreciated:d

You should be fine with just about any glass containers, keep an eye out for thickness though, you want decently thick glass for several reasons. It prevents your glass from chipping/cracking easily, prevents the glass from getting worn down due to lye etching and allows your glass to tolerate temperature changes better. I'd suggest something like canning jars if you can't get borosilicate glass extraction equipment.
