Rising Star
Yes, the title is misleading, for doubt is often a valuable instrument, but what about DMT?
I think it is the most amazing substance in the world and have the utmost respect for its' effects. So much, in fact, I keep a small amount for almost a year, just to know it's close to me. There are way too many funny coincidences in my experience with "hyperdelics" (making up new words, y'all). For example, the professor who was making them got sick the same day I wanted to get it and ended up in a hospital. My "prophetic" and more experienced girlfriend said: "That's because of your attitude towards it, you won't get it until you show respect." Those coincidences seemed way too timed as I dived deeper in an almost sect-like culture of local shamans and their friends, speaking of things I found a bit prim, even snobbish at times.
My absolute first time was quite amazing. My girlfriend led the ceremony, we put water, a candle, bread and stones she had collected for years.
As I took the hit, I was reminded of the ego fragmentation similar to my singular use of salvia divinorum. To be honest, salvia was boring to me, it felt like a dream and when I came back I was exhausted and didn't learn crap. DMT on the other hand... yes, hand, that's the first thing I saw after the confusion of the breakthrough. THis purple patterned guy came and said something like: "so you a sceptic, huh? Check this shit out then, infidel. ", in a positive manner of course. That dude showed me our milky way and the energy field around it. "You may not get it now, but you will". Later on there were some Mayan looking entities beating them drums as I was crying out "I don't wanna leave, ever!!", the entities replied with a "chill, you'll be back no matter what you do", which kinda meant that this is the place I will be inhabiting once I am dead.
Now, it felt like I should totally kill myself, but that's just silly, the cliffhanger of the last "Mr Robot" episode was too good, so no. Just kidding, of course, it was a gently passed knowledge I contemplated just a few hours after the trip.
A few days later, BAM, a scientist called Nassim Haramein unveils his theory about the energy flows of all matter, and the computer generated image was 1:1 with what I saw.
"DAYUM!" was my first reaction as the entities made their point and kicked my science ass a week after the encounter. From here on out followed a series of coincidences with actual Mexican shamans and many more.
Now, I can type my stories on and on, until my boss comes and punches me for not doing any work. However, I will just put up the word DOUBT here...
I've covered all the possibilities - my mind, my body, the world, the other world... How could I possibly see an alien, who shows me their planet during a trip? Like, really? We can go on without questioning it, but these entities kinda proved their point already. So effectively, I might add, that I literally make two to three months between trips just to analyze all that data and the coincidences of my life that would follow. Could be my own illusion, right? But might also be something entirely different.
As a semi-rational being, (alas, an artist destined to go insane one day, perhaps ) I cannot help but question everything, especially something so profound as the life-changing experiences I got with DMT. I wanted to know if there is a higher power - yeah, there is. I wanted to know if we are communicating with spirits or other physical beings smoking their own brews on Melmac - well, there are all of them there! Damn, I shouldn't have asked so many questions, huh, spirits?
In the end, I am left with myself, which means that I will not attach to any theory. I sometimes tell close friends and family members about those experiences, just because if I tell them to acquaintances, I will sound to them the way a new age hippie sounds to a tree.
No denying, though, it is the most interesting, positive and important thing to have happened to me. The universe we enter might be pretty hard to comprehend, but the knowledge is there and you can google... I mean vape it.
All the best!
