Is our reality a school/prison also after this life?

Migrated topic.
Hello all,

recently, I am beginning to comprehend more and more of the nature of our reality, I believe.

I was very wrong with some things in this old thread. Especially "matrix agents"/spiritless humans. Such ideas are dangerous because they divide humanity
and create an enemy image of others being greedy humans. It is thinking in terms of duality - us versus them. This is all wrong! Please forget this idea! Please
forgive me for having posted such rubbish!

There are NO spiritless humans or matrix agents!

Soon, I will provide information why I wrongfully believed in the existence of matrix agents/spiritless humans. So far, I can say that my FALSE perception of this has
simply got to do with my karmic formations when confronted with karmic formations of others. More specific: when talking to others about the nature of reality,
I noticed ignorance in some people and MISINTERPRETED this ignorance as them being totally different and therefore matrix agents/spiritless humans. Yet I was the
ignorant one, because I did not notice that this difference between myself and others is the result of karmic formations and dependent origination. An accidental
phenomenon of two consciounesses interacting. In addition, someone only perceives as much as their karmic formations allow. Reality is also subjective. Literally imo.
This might be the reason why some people come up with outrageous conspiracies (like me), for example. I will provide some more info on all of this later.

Truth is, we are all one. Behind every human being is the same self.

Truth is, that Buddhas teachings have it very right!!!
Just recently, I really began to understand some of their true meaning.

Truth is, we are in Samsara. A cosmic system of our own creation. Samsara is a "prison" of the mind. This is where the term "prison" applies.
Maybe Samsara can also be regarded as a school. A place of evolution.
The term prison/Samsara does NOT apply to my prior flawed understanding of others keeping us here. We keep ourselves in this illusion!
We also influence each other. Yet behind these others is the same self! Therefore, creating "enemy images" makes no sense.
We need to see us all as one. We need to see us as the same self.

Yet someone has to get to the point where the self becomes no-self. The ego has to be overcome.

I will extend on all of this further. Please forget all my previous posts (I mean the ones I deleted already) because they were flawed and unclear.
If I read through them now, I can't believe how deluded I wrote about certain things. lol. Well, the ego seems to make things up and everyone
seems to be on a different path. Yet we all have the same goal. I believe that I have finally found the truth I was looking for but the real work starts now.
I am happy to share this with you.

Btw, I wonder if DMT gives us insights into the different worlds of Samsara. However, I recommend to avoid drugs since they cannot replace true spirituality.
I believe that meditation, Buddhist teachings, treating other people nicely, living according to the Dharma, etc. well, everything which works for you towards
self-realization and nirvana should be practiced.

What lies beyond Samsara? Other cosmic systems? I bet yes.
Do we go through an evolution, climb a ladder inside Samsara or do we circle?

Here is a quote from Albert Einstein on Buddhism:

If there is any religion that would cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism...A human being is part of the whole, called by us "Universe"; a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest — a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely but striving for such achievement is, in itself, a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security.

I believe, that we need to realize that we are in Samsara. Our purpose is to return to god, to attain nirvana and to achieve this for others and yourself it is best to
foster compassion and bring all of us closer together so that beings get the opportunity to free themselves. If you help someone else, you help yourself.
The same self is behind all of us. We are all connected and dependend on each other.

All these posts regarding reality and whether its a prison or not brings to mind a verse from a song by a now defunct ska punk band called 'Culture Shock' which is as follows:

Get out of your prison
Its only in your mind
All the things you're given
Are there to make you blind
Rules are to be broken
And walls are to be climbed
So throw away their values
And leave 'em all behind.
Go wild my son, go wild!

Fascinating discussion.Islam has an interesting take on these matters; the Prophetic Traditions and the Quran clearly state that that there are realms unseen and it is an article of Faith to accept this. There are 2 classes of sentient beings who have been created by The Almighty (who is One, with no partner or equal) and these are we humans and what are known as the Jinn. There are both good and bad humans and Jinns and both are bestowed with free-will to choose or accept their subservience to The Almighty. Many of the Jinn mislead humans by mixing truth with falsehood.Sorry if Im coming across as theologically full-on but could what we experience in Hyperspace be contact with these Jinn?Just a thought.....

This is my opinion on the concept of reality as a prison. At this time i would say that we are limited both physically and mentally, so this could be seen as a kind of prison and understandably some people are unhappy at this situation and go through a lot of pain. In my opinion though, reality is as much a learning experience as it is a prison. All experience contains information for us to learn from and interestingly, there seems to be some degree of choice in the lessons that we learn, because although its often hard to control the situations we find ourselves in, we often have a choice as to how we deal with these situations and what we learn from them. It just depends on what you need to learn. I don't believe we are here without purpose or as a punishment or the result of our own failings, we are here because we need to be here.

I apologize for any anxiety this thread may have caused.

Please don't take it to heart as I was in a bit of a mental melt down.

I AM VERY VERY SORRY FOR THIS THREAD! I DEEPLY APOLOGIZE TO ALL OF YOU!

Some months ago, in a state of depression, I browsed the Internet to find an answer to the reason of life and found a thread on ATS, which I mentioned before in this thread.

The idea in that thread of us being in a "school/prison" seemed realistic to me, because of my past experiences in life.

I was also jealous and frustrated that others are happy and I am not. I admit, that I wanted to make people realize my suffering. I wanted to make you aware of the suffering
of my existence. That is the reason for opening this thread.

I passionately engaged in the discussion and wrote about nonsense like "matrix agents/spiritless humans", evil entities etc.. I dwelled on the negative and I am very
very sorry that I did this! Please don't take it to heart. My approach of this was insensitive. I should have been much more careful.

Please always be nice to people and treat everyone as you would want to be treated yourself!

Please forgive me. Thank you for reading this.
