Is re-x necessary if one freeze-precips?

Hello! I am trying to make sure that my Spice is as clean as possible for my health and that of my loved ones, and so I am considering starting to re-x. However, I was looking at various methods and I realized that my freeze-precip'd Spice (via q21q21's) is already snow-white, other than oxidation browning. I mean, it doesn't have the near-trasparency of some of the xtal porn we all get to see all the time, but it is ivory white...

so what's the consensus here? Does freeze-precipitated Spice need recrystallization?

You will be suprised at the impurities still in the 'snow white' spice. If you do a good heptane reX I think you will be happy with the results. It will atleast taste better.
