Hey everyone, and thank you in advance for any help you may be able to give. So swim has some bark and wanted to know if Its the right stuff for a STB extraction.

UPDATE: Source has said it is dark brown and mostly bark not much of purple or pink color or inner material.

Smash it with a hammer, grind it down piece by piece with a blender or coffee grinder carefully so you don't break the machine, and once you have a more powder-like-substance it can be used for STB.

Thank you, yes swim is going to pulverize it as much as possible, but swim worries the bark is not the right one or bad quality, its not too pink its more of a rust brown color, not much pink or purple. Swim was assured it was mexican mhrb...

It's a bit of outer bark as well, not fully the inner bark. Just extract it anyway.

Well swim had been told that this was mostly the dark brown bark and not much of any pink or purple color, but for certain it is from mexico.

Should swim attempt the extract anyways? swim has only 5oz NaOh xtals, 20-24oz Naptha, 1 Lb Drk MEX.Bark, STB tek. swim hopes to yeild 3g Yellow/drk Xtals then naptha washed for pure xtals, yellow residue for changa.

OK thanks. Still trying to find more lye, swim may have a problem here. It was hard enough signing for the first amount at the local guesstapo-general store. Swim lives in a small nosey suburban galaxy cluster. *sigh*

swim was thinking of making lye at home with a car battery charger, graphite rods and super salt saturated aqueous solution, outside of course avoiding accidental inhalation of any harmful gases. Anyone have any experience with this? swim has researched the sodium carbonate but hates the thought of having to wait so long for chemical breakdown.

Update: swim just checked and has just a little under a 1/2 Lb of pure Naoh Xtals.

IDK about the car battery graphite method, but you can make naoh or koh with pickling lime and either sodium carbonate to get naoh, or potassium carbonate to get koh. You can get sodium carbonate as washing soda at the grocery store, and lime, or caoh as pickling lime. Potassium carbonate can be had from boiling hardwood ash in water, and filtering out the ash and reducing the water. Then add the caoh to either your potassium carbonate solution, or sodium carbonate solution, cook it for a few hours, filter out the insoluble calcium salts, and then reduce the liquid, or evap it completely if you want. Be very careful if you try this, and make sure to read up on exactly how its done, theres a few articles on the web you can find with google that will outline the tek. Don't try this just going from my quick outline alone.

Well It should be a couple of weeks before I can get anything started. So I will have to revive this thread when that time nears. Peace all.

I just whish I could fins somewhere online of anyone getting even at least 2G from 1Lb of the outer bark chunks. Possibly as a bulk cheaper alternative to the rising expensive inner root bark. Can anyone PM me with any vendor info here in the states. I wont order out because of customs crap and I have zero tolerance for that crap lol. US vendor help plz pm me.

Who, even if you are like me and not able to post yet on the other sections, you can still LQQK at the "suppliers" section in the forum section below the welcome section we can post in. I just got done ordering from a US supplier and did because it was suggested in that section..abvrieation Nat Won. just look for the post " is this supplier any good" or " best MHRb supplier" clikc the links and go from there. I know someone who just did an extraction on some brown MHRB. The yeild was pathetic. plus it yeilded DMT-n-O. Almost no n-nDMT. Buit this was root bark.
Definatly do the extract because I know I'm not alone when I say that I'm curious o see what you get from MH well,...Bark (I don't think that what you have there is inner root bark at all).
Definalty lose your attachment to the out come as well. Do it for the data!
Get some real purple/pink MHRB for some spice.
Might I suggest getting some hydrated lime from you local hardware store and using Q21Q21's tek. Makeing lye is one of those things that is just plain irresponsable unless you have a properly equiped laboratory and a proper education on the process and have been trained to do it.
BTW; House, are you sure it takes 1:1 ratio of lye to bark? seems like a bit much...I don't think I've ever used that much to get to at least a ph12.

And it contains what looks to be a high concentration of gold/metallic ultra-fine micron sediments? check out these pictures and let me know what you all think. The water is "hyper-reflective" under certain light sources.

SWIM always uses a 1:1 ratio with the lye and mhrb but only beacause SWIM want to extract within an hour or so. A .5:1 ration works fine when left for 24 hours or more. anyone used the acacai confusia yet? curious about yeilds from stem bark not root bark.

I know someone used A.C. root bark and yeilded almost nothing. It was ordered from an online source...Someones best advice; check the suppliers section of this site. Read it. Study it well.

Someone also recently scored some of...no, THE BEST(!) MHRB Someone has ever worked with! Great price too, just had to wait a little longer than used too.

You can order lye online from Ebay.
Do a search for food grade lye. Its very cheap.
