Hi all

A proper introduction will follow sometime in the near future, but for now I have a burning question.

I want to know if this is lighter fluid product is Naphtha.

Clipper

Its the small 133ml tin.

I did an evaporation test, which left zero residue. Which is great, but no so much if it isn't Naphtha. Also, I couldn't find any answers on the net.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi downwardsfromzero, thanks for the response and to wrap this up quick,i was doing 2 50g a/b extracts and when i added the clipper fuel in the 1st one and left for a while (didn't bother with the 2nd) it turned a little milky looking after an hour so i have poured it away and will stick with the swan or ronsonol.

There is so much mixed info on different types off naps,im UK based and new to extracting but am doing lots and lots of research as i have a lot of respect for the spice.

I am going to order some vm and p online but i was trying to find the best naps to use so I didn't have to leave a digital footprint.

I only thought I'd throw it out there as I have seen a few posts from various sites asking the same question, but my conclusion is to stick with recommended brands for now till I can get a bigger tin of high quality naptha.

Thank you for replying and for the input. Im on a huge learning curve in regards to extraction and best method, ive had a few very successful extractions to date, nice white fluff, although my first encounter with the spice was with yellow and it was a very beautiful introduction.

This site has already given me so much information and i am still learning lots.

I hope to be able to help others learn as i go and to learn from others as i progress.

Big love to all the people putting the time and effort to progress the information on this beautiful subject
