jungle question

i've been reading up on extracting jungle spice but i'm not 100% sure that what i am planning to do is correct.

i am doing a stb tek using naptha to pull the dmt. would i be right in thinking that after i pull the dmt and freeze precipitate it there will be alkoloids leftover in the basified solution which can't be pulled with naptha and that to get them i would remove the naptha completely and then add xylene. then evap the xylene?

my basified solution will be 600ml of water, 100g lye and 100g mhrb.. how much xylene should i use? how long should i leave it sitting with the xylene in it before removing it and evapping? are there any steps i am missing or anything (assuming i have the general idea right)?

You got the idea right. The thing is, xylene smells very nasty, dont breathe fumes from it, work with good ventilation/hood, and make sure that your neighbours wont smell it otherwise they can get suspicious. Another option is to salt out the alkaloids from xylene, with FASW or vinegar, and then freebase the salted alkaloids for your desired smoking mixture.

As for xylene, you could try doing 3x 50ml (or 100ml) pulls. Notice you will most likely still have plenty of DMT left in that xylene pull, even after doing several naphtha pulls... You could try using some warm naphtha to do a couple of pulls on the results of the xylene evap (or of the freebase after converting from salting the xylene), which should pick up the DMT and leave the other stuff, which will have small amounts of DMT, plus probably some 2-MTHBC, maybe some NMT, and possible other plant oils and so on. i'm very excited about seeing how this all works out. i was excited enough about doing my first extraction and finally getting to know dmt after over a decade of fantasizing about it... but now finding out that there's maybe some other good stuff in there that i can get. excitement overload, lol.

I just wanted to add that I've been pretending to paint/varnish wood while evapping my xylene - the smell is so strong that it fills my entire garden. I was nervous so I grabbed a piece of old fence I had lying round the back of my yard and made it look like I was working on it, laid out a few cans of paint/varnish some brushes etc... Just so if anyone did come a knocking it would look like I was just busy DIY'ing.
I just keep all of it neatly stacked in the corner of my garage and whip it out when evapping the xylene.

smell is an issue for me, mainly because i can't do it.. i am anosmic (no sense of smell... at all). i live in a tower block and even if my whole house was stinking of solvent i wouldn't be able to smell it. i'm inclined to put it out on my balcony inside a ventilated box or something, i figure that way even if one of my many neighbours get a whiff of it they won't know where it is coming from.
