Hey I am new here I used to mod for years on the ayahausca forum under the name TIHKAL..
nice to be here...
So consider this a census...
How many folks have tried drinking (in a lucid dream) 25-30gm or more of MHRB from a cold water infusion with no acids added to it?
ive tried it was stem bark with mixed results... though they were entheogenic... erowid should have my trip report up shortly on that one...
so any successful bioassys?
I dont want to get into the chemistry the light the dark the jungle dmt or any yumarine technobabble... i just want to know how many have tried it and how often has it worked or not worked and how you did it.

I haven't tried a CWE of mimosa yet, but the thought has been dancing around my head for a few months now. It definitely seems like an area worth some experimentation. I've read Yatra's fieldwork, and I have to laugh at Yatra's exultation about "reintroducing" the people to their sacrament by bringing them an MAOI, when mimosa is already fully active by itself when taken in sufficient quantity.

Dagger, what amount did you find to be active? I assume that the extraction was simmered down to a fluid ounce or two for rectal administration?

I think it was about 30 gram. But that was back in the day when my extraction and material was not that good. Now I would think 10 gram would be enough. It was not a strong experience, just that it was quite noticable. Lasted for about 15 minutes. Brew was reduced to about 10 ml.

A cold water extraction is easy to do with a percolator setup. With that method, what comes out first, is much more potent compared to what comes out later. This is a way to get a very potent brew in a small volume.
 
I have had effects with 30 grams. But it's nothing like ayahuasca. If you want to go to hyperspace, purely on a MHRB-CWE you'l be spending an awful lot of money. I have taken it in combination with MAOI's, but always with powerfull additives as well, like mushrooms or recently with chacruna and chaliponga. So i wouldn't know if a pure CWE with caapi alone would work like ayahuasca does, but i bet it does. The experiences i have had with it where too strong. I think a pure MHRB-CWE with caapi would require something like 30/40 grams for a very reasonable aya trip.

Depending on the quality of your MHRB. some stuff is too weak.
