edit..this all scares the shit out of me in some ways..because I plan on going to peru sometime in the next year or so and will be drinking ayahuasca..so I dunno if they relly can tell how much a person needs but I have this feeling I may be in for quite the ride down there!..not necessarily a bad thing though..I have gone real high dosing with mushrooms and smoked DMT of course so it's not like it's unfamilair territory..but the idea of being that far gone in a foreign country with a bunch of strangers makes me a bit uneasy..

follow your intuition and your heart when choosing where to go / who to do it with, and you will be fine...
esp if you find a good shaman he/she should be able to hold the space, so even if it gets a bit hairy you have support around you at all times.
and you can always ask to start with a small dose...

^yes I think a good shaman makes all the difference..

I think it's the vine I am super sensitive to..I hear abou people saying 25 grams is a small dose of caapi and people drinking up to 50 or even 100 grams! I couldnt imagince drinking that much..DMT becomes active for me like 12 grams caapi when it's brewed right..I feel good with 15-20 grams..

I dont think I have ever gone above 20 grams vine..

even at 15 grams vine and 3 or 4 grams chaliponga I have had life changing visions.
