I see what you're doing with this, Alloneallalone, and I like it.
You're slowly trying to make people realise the economical slavery they're living in.
It's ("defacing" the Deity known as money) illegal and, as is more common with illegal things,
sounds like a good idea
You could internationalise this statement by spelling it; "$lav€" to include the Euro sign as well.
And yes, hug46, systematically burning money to both increase it's value & make it slowly disappear has crossed my mind too, but it wouldn't help much: Only few people can afford to burn money. If authotiries felt that our money is able to buy us more then they feel we should have, they'd just print more money and the value would decrease again.
The change we want, to rise above the monetary system and create a new society, has to come fro within: When enough people join together in the decision to move beyond a life dictated by money and profit. To turn all banknotes into anti-Capitalist propaganda is a nice way to work at achieving that goal; Raising awareness. The awareness that we deserve better than this and that we CAN do better than this.

I dont really have that much of a problem with money per se. It can be quite a useful tool if used properly. Maybe it would be better to deface the people that give it a bad name. Anyone with value systems that are percieved to be dysfunctional in relation to a strict code of Nexian morality should have the word boner tattooed on their foreheads.

I am still waiting for all of you to send me bills to keep out of circulation, but I was thinking about it this morning and I realized that people may not want to send bills through the mail, for the quite reasonable fear of governmental interception. But fret not, I have a solution! For larger sums you can Direct Deposit into my offshore account.
But that's a lot of typing and paperwork for some of you, I understand.
Better yet, PM me all your banking info - account number, relevant passwords and answers to personal pass questions, thumb prints if appropriate - and I'll take care of it from my end. No hassles! After all, a revolution should not involve the bureaucratic pen pushing formalities of paper and signatures and passwords - no romance, or passion or gusto in that!
It's the only peaceful solution and I am taking care of the messy, painfully dull bureaucratic end of things, leaving you with nothing but the satisfaction of having participated in the revolution and the overthrow of the economic, political and social powers that are holding you back from your true potential - no blood, sweat or tears!

And the Bieber wigs were meant as merkins, both as a tribute to Justin and a way of cutting down on the incidence of wiener frostbite casualties in the panhandling and squeegee-punk populations. Not my fault if the former used them to collect coins and the latter dyed them green and wore them on their heads! My heart was in the right place, as it will be when I cash your check and amass a fortune keeping those greenbacks off the street (bluebacks I guess in your case?)
