LazyMan Tek- No Yield

Hello,

Please help me figure out what I am doing wrong. In the past successful yields have been done using the LazyMan's Tek (both with and without baking powder wash, and freeze precip). Now a tek is being done using purely LazyMan's Tek but an initial problem was that we were unable to determine exactly how much powdered MHBR was added to our jar.

These are the events:
1.We estimate that between 1/4-1/2 a KG was added to the jar (we added 3 cups finely powdered MHRB).
2.Next one liter of water was added with 8 tablespoons of NAOH.
3.The Water/NAOH mixture was added to the jar. The mixture was stirred for several mins and carefully sloshed around with the jar closed.
4. Naphtha was added a few hours later and a STB extraction was done 24 hours later.
5. The result was a little bit of DMT with what appeared to be jungle dmt. Looked like this picture: Picture It is undetermined if it is jungle DMT but there was dark red waxy matter in the glass pan. There was also some pure dmt crystal in the pan.
6. Next, A pint of water and 4 table spoons of naoh was added to the jar.
7. Mixture was stirred and carefully sloshed around with the jar closed.
8. Naphtha was added a dew hours later and a STB extraction was done 24 hours later.
9. The STB extraction yielded nothing!

Why did the STB extraction yield nothing? What should I add to rebalance out the jar? I am thinking more NAOH should be added to break done the powdered MHRB.

Questions:
1. Why did the STB extraction yield nothing the second time around?
2. What should I add to rebalance out the jar so that I will have a yield next time?
3. Any guess on the weight of one cup finely ground MHRB bark?
4. Does it sound like I yielded jungle dmt on the first extraction?

Thank you!

Thank you! That answered all my questions except number 3 (3. Any guess on the weight of one cup finely ground MHRB bark?). Ill apply the new information learned and post my results in about 48-72 hours time!

Following the advice from the information posted above (thank you endlessness) the following was tried:

What was remaining in the jar was stirred and mixed really well. Then the jar was left to stand for the rest of the day. At night naphtha was added and then again stirred really intensely. Once the jar was thoroughly mixed it was left to stand for 24 hours, before the naphtha was taken off the top to evap. The resulting evap once again yielded nothing.

What are your thoughts?

Should we try "Adding more lye/base in the basic solution and try again, with small warm, thoroughly mixed pulls?" Or Should be abandon this jar and start over?
