I wouldnt smoke it even with a wash. A wash assumes that the impurity is soluble in the water, and you have no idea what kind of impurity is there unless you know what plant source, process and chemicals were used. Did you read the thread I linked? Its not that I personally cant help you, its rather like,
nobody could have a better idea what it is, unless more info on extraction method and so on.
You said you friend tried it and was better than yours, what does that even mean? DMT is DMT, there is no better or worse DMT.. What vaporization method did he use? Unless you use a GVG and torch lighter or have another similarly efficient vaporization method, its very common that one has failed launches (burned dmt, etc). How many times did your friend smoke of each batch? Is it possible your friend just coincidentally had a correct launch with one and not with the other?
And also, remember feeling subjectively good doesnt say anything about potential toxic impurities one might be ingesting.
Lastly, yeah you are right this does not add up and goes against the facts we know about DMT. Pure DMT is white/transparent, so if its not white/transparent, its impure or not DMT.
