Give it too much love and I'll start puking around.
I got nothing personal with "love", but it is becoming an awful cliché around here lately. I do not love everybody and I do not want to be loved by everybody. I am not one with everybody and no, I'm not full of light.
So please guys tune it down a bit if possible (this is NOT a mod request :d !) with all the "love stuff" because for me it is getting off-putting already.

I'm in agreement with you...too often I find people who say the answer to every problem is "Love", as if "projecting Love" is going to put any sort of stop to all the injustice and violence and abuse going on right now. This "Love Everything", "One with Everything" approach seems very naive. I'm too aware of these injustices and the dark forces that abound to merely retreat in "Love"...I think a better approach is the Warrior approach - to go out in the world with courage and an open Heart.

Courage with an open heart is not a warrior's way, and is in fact more in line with Love Everything. How can a warrior have an open heart when you are only fighting against yourself? There must be love for your heart to be open. "One with Everything" only seems naieve if you don't understand.

Love is a very misconstrued concept. I'm sure your meaning, my meaning and and everyone elses meaning of the concept of "love" varies..some a little bit...some alot.
I have strong views torwards love and compassion. Through my years of visiting various countires and actually seeing various cultures through my work and supplementing entheogens into my life I have came to a few conclusions. And upon the conclusions I have started loving more, and being more respectful and compassionate of people despite their egos and whatever they choose to carry around with them from their day to day..whether its anger, greed, whatever. And since ive done that as a person my life has made a complete 180 and I am living an excellent life, great job, travel. All because of these key things that i've decided to start emphasizing in my life.
Sure you can most likely obtain this without "love, comapssion,etc" but it sure helps to ease the transistion through life..at least for me.
I love these people here as human beings for what they are and what "most" on here stand for. The betterment of the individual through supplementing psychedelics.
Once again....my concept of love is quite possibly different from yours man. But.....TO EACH HIS OWN

With regards to your take on Love, allow me to clarify in a specific way why I don't understand how this is viable. Let's take the coal mining industry as an example - this large, corrupt industry that destroys mountains, poisons streams, habitats, and communities - how then do I fight it with Love? Right now I have nothing but hatred for the industry, its greed, and its dishonesty. I don't act directly against it but support those who do directly or indirectly try to stop the mining. The people who stand on the side, talking about Love, get nothing done, whereas those who channel their anger into productive work do have concrete achievements under their belt.
My conclusion is that those who channel their anger into productive activities have a better track record than those who merely try to embody/project Love. Do you agree?
