LSA to LSH Tek Using Perppermint [Nexus Compilation]

Migrated topic.

First time poster here, I feel very fortunate that I found this community and would like to extend my gratitude and thanks for the information, knowledge, and wisdom that the nexus has to offer. This tek is a compilation of the information I have seen on the various LSA and LSH threads involving the recipe for Sgt. Peppers Tea. The following is based off memory and surface level research so please correct any misinformation presented.

LSA to LSH Tek: Peppermint + HBWD/MG:

Ingredients:

1) 1 Cup(8 oz) of Distilled Water (Do NOT use tap water, it contains chlorine that will destroy LSA/LSH)
2) 2 Tablespoons or more of Fresh Peppermint Leaves (Spearmint is thought to work as well; The leaves can be dried or fresh off the plant - Fresh peppermint supplies the brew with acetaldehyde which is necessary for converting LSA to LSH; put simply LSH = LSA + Acetaldehyde; Acetaldehyde evaporates in a realatively short time frame so old peppermint will not work; See notes at end for more on Acetaldehyde)
3) LSA Source (HBWD and Morning Glory are most often used; When using HBWD ~ 1-3 seeds = Low Dose, 4-6 seeds = Med Dose, 7-10 seeds = High Dose, Always remember that when experimenting with a new drug to start with a low dose and work your way up, everyone reacts slightly different)
4) Tea Sweetener (Optional) (Sugar - For taste)

Supplies:

1) Opaque Bottle/Container with Lid (Light degrades LSA/LSH; material: preferably not plastic)
2) Grinder (Pepper and Coffee grinders work well)
3) Strainer/Filter (Coffee filters work well)

Procedure:

1) Put 2 tablespoons of fresh peppermint leaves in an opaque bottle
2) Boil 1 cup of water
3) Remove from heat and pour hot water into opaque bottle containing peppermint leaves
4) Cap bottle and place in refrigerator to cool tea to room temperature or lower
5) While tea is cooling, groud seeds in low light conditions
6) After tea has cooled mix in ground seed material, cap bottle, and shake rigorously. (Vitamin C or other acidifying compounds can be added to the tea to assist in extraction. Ideal ph=4)
7) Place capped bottle in refrigerator and leave overnight (occasionally shaking might help)
8] When ready strain brew leaving only liquid, this is your end product, consume and enjoy!

Notes:

(1) Extraction can also be done with any other compound that contains acetaldehyde (e.g. rum and sherry wine).
(2) Adding HBWD ground seed material to the tea while hot can extract unfavorable contents into your tea.
(3) Acetaldehyde's boiling point is documented as 68 deg F, because of this it is important cap your tea container immediately when brewing the peppermint leaves.
(4) The finer the seed material is ground the better.
(5) This tek has been found to work, but not 100% of the time. There is still some uncertainty as to why. It has been proposed that natural variations in acetaldehyde and LSA amounts could be the cause. Other sources for reported inconsistent results include but are not restricted to:
((a)) LSH to LSA ratio in body, it is hypothesized that LSA can inhibit the effects of LSH.
((b)) LSA to LSH conversion might happen within the body, in which case diet leading up to ingestion might play a role.
(6) Ingesting rum, sherry wine, or alcohol before ingesting tea could aid in converting LSA to LSH within the body (if the conversion does indeed take place within the body?) by putting acetaldehyde into the body. When alcohol is broken down within the body it produces acetaldehyde.
(7) If LSA to LSH conversion is successful the tea should have a stimulating effect. If not one might experience a sedating effect from the LSA.
(8] By ingesting other psychoactive compounds with LSH the experience can be altered. See 69ron's post titled 'Recipes for Organic LSD (LSH)' within the DMT-Nexus forum.
(9) Reported time for LSH effects to begin is approximately 30 min.
(10) LSA and LSH have been reported to cause bronchoconstriction (constriction of airways; shortness of breath; theophylline is a bronchodilator than can help with this) and vasoconstriction (narrowing of blood vessels; decreased blood flow). To counter act both of these symptoms chocolate (which contains theobromine) can be consumed. 2-3x concentrated chocolate milk has been recommended.
(11) 3 Datura Stramonium seeds are commonly taken with this tea to make the experience more LSD like and counteract effects described in note (10) above.

Sources: I would like to acknowledge 69ron for much of the information presented in this tek along with all other posters within the thread 'Recipes for Organic LSD (LSH)' and other threads discussing LSA and LSH.

SWIM has yet to try the tek that has been discussed, but is planning on it!

At the risk of sounding a bit like an ass...I'd say the LSA to LSH conversion itself is misinformation...or at least a process that lacks any scientific/chemical validation, afaik. Benzyme (whose chemical knowledge I completely trust...considerably moreso than 69ron) can/has posted numerous times in numerous locations to this effect.

I only mention this because I feel it is worth noting from the scientific angle. Obviously if it creates subjective effects for you or others and you enjoy those effects more than "regular" LSA, that's reason enough to engage in such a process, just wanted to put that out there as the LSH myth seems to be a fairly pervasive one.

Fair Enough, the basis for the conversion could very well be misinformation. I am by no means a chemist. I think the idea/tek is worth exploration though, based on others' experiences.

The one LSH conversion I have tried produced similar effects to just eating the ground up sees... as far as morning glories go.

However, I would like to try this recipe using HBWR Seeds and adding a little bit of yohimbe bark to counteract the vasoconstriction.

Maybe add some syrian rue too, to potentiate the LSA/LSH?

Thoughts?
